Professional Pet Friends was established in 2019 by Knoxville native, Leah Harris.
A note from the owner
It is safe to say that my inspiration comes from my own beloved pets Willow, Annie, May, Daphne, Velma & 4 angel fish.
Over the years, it was hard to find a place where I could comfortably board my pets or have someone trustworthy come to my home. One day it dawned on me, "Why don't I provide the service I am looking for?" thus, PPF was born.
With my own pets in mind, I created this small business in hopes to cater to every client and their specific needs. I have a true understanding that pets are like family and need to be treated as such. I take a personal, team based approach, and aim to provide the highest quality of care through prompt updates, educated sitters, and memorable pictures.
Ultimately, our main goal is to treat each client, pet, and home like our own while keeping you updated every step of the way.
It has and will continue to be my passion (and blessing) to run Professional Pet Friends.

How We Operate
We care for pets of all species, breeds, and ages in our service area of Knoxville, TN.
At this time, we do not board any animals.
Availability is first come, first serve.
We do not keep any keys on file, clients are responsible for keeping keys safely accessible, on-sight.
Finally, we take a team based approach to all pet care.
Our sitters are covered by pet sitting insurance, workers comp, have passed background checks, and are in continuous training in order to provide excellent care. Secondary M&G's with our sitters can be arranged as time and schedules permit.
With a team in place ready to love your pet, we can ensure that you're covered in every event and emergency while avoiding burnout/over exhaustion. Please note that for special cases, we can accommodate with a single sitter with a backup in mind.
